Application of various types of conveyor belts

Conveyor belts or conveyors are the arteries of industry in various factories, and there is almost no factory or mine that does not use conveyor belts in some way.
Among the special features of conveyors, the following can be mentioned: – The conveyor can continue to work at all hours of the day and on all days of the week, month and year with only a small cost for repairs and maintenance.
– A conveyor belt can be used for short or long routes and it can be made resistant to the surrounding environment and weather conditions by means of the covers that are created on it. – Material transfer at different angles
One of the prominent features of the conveyor belt is the loading of materials from different points by various types of feeders and their unloading at desired locations.
Conveyor belts are better compatible with the environment than other types of material transfer equipment, and their equipment causes less pollution in the environment. – They have a very high degree of safety.
– Few personnel deal with it, and the conveyor itself can be mechanically or electrically secured so that no problem occurs during the material transfer process. – The energy consumption cost of the conveyor belt is also low and its maintenance costs are also negligible.
– The size of the materials that can be transferred by the conveyor belt depends on the width of the belt. From very small particles to large pieces of material
The application of various types of conveyor belts have different components, which are as follows: drum, head, trailing drum, arched pulleys, carrier, return pulleys, conveyor belt, impact pulleys, feed shot, side loading walls, discharge shot
If we want to examine the components of a conveyor belt in the simplest form, we can say; The simplest conveyor belt consists of a pair of pulleys, one of which is powered, and an endless conveyor belt stretched between them. This simple system can only be used for short distances; Therefore, it is of limited use. But if we decide to use conveyor belts for long distances, we must install pulleys at regular intervals to prevent the belt from buckling. These reels usually consist of three rollers, the side rollers

Types of conveyor belts

Introducing types of conveyor belts:

Rubber conveyor belt, PVC conveyor belt
Canvas conveyor belt, modular or plastic conveyor belt
And… Conveyor belts are made by connecting several layers or multiple woven layers in the form of a woven integrated strip that provides the necessary tensile strength in the conveyor belt. The layers are covered with a sticky material that binds them into a single object.
In special types of conveyor belts, nylon or artificial silk steel wires are placed inside them to increase the tensile strength of the belt. The resistance value of a belt is expressed by the number of layers as 4, 6, 7, 8, etc.
The use of different types of conveyor belts, the weight of each layer is expressed as: 792.25, 906, 25.1019, 1189, etc. in grams for a piece with a width of 68.106 cm and a length of 91.44 cm.

Different types of conveyor belts

Conveyors are a symbol of self-development or progress in factories. Conveyors are used to transport materials that are transported individually or in packages and in large volumes repeatedly between two fixed points. The types of conveyors used in different factories are as follows:
Belt conveyor belt conveyor is made of a rubber or PVC conveyor belt, a number of steel rollers that support the belt.
The belt can be made of PVC, rubber, thin metal and plastic. The material of the conveyor belt is tarpaulin. These conveyors are very suitable for high temperatures, such as the baking oven of the biscuit production line. This conveyor is mostly used for the transportation of light materials such as salt, sugar, and various powders, as well as for the sorting of agricultural products. It can also be used to carry single and packaged materials in straight or spiral paths.
Wheel conveyor Wheel conveyor (weighing) is used in halls that have a slight slope. This device has wheels and based on its slight slope, workers push a load on the wheels with their hands and the wheels move. These conveyors are also used for fragile products. The width of this conveyor is 30 to 60 cm.
The roller conveyor (weight) consists of a series of rollers side by side that rotate side by side and have a slight slope so that hand strength is not used. These rollers rotate around an axis. They are used to carry milk and soft drink boxes.
A roller conveyor with driving force is like a roller conveyor, only instead of weight force, driving force (electricity) is used; That is, in this type of conveyor, there is no need for a slope and the speed of the conveyor can be controlled. This conveyor is made of cylindrical rollers with bearings at both ends and is suitable for carrying packages that have sufficient strength.

The first and simplest conveyor is the stud or shot. This conveyor is the most economical means for transferring materials from one level to a lower level and is capable of transferring any type of slippery material. This type of belt is used in the food industry to transport powdered materials such as flour and sugar-Application of various types of conveyor belts
